Choosing a shower enclosure
Pivot and hinged doors
A pivot door swings open from a fixed side panel. It gives a defined shower area and keeps water in, which makes it popular for standard bathrooms. Our black frame pivot doors suit modern and industrial styles.
Walk-in screens and wet room panels
A fixed glass panel creates an open, door-free shower. Wet room panels work with a level floor to give a seamless look, and they are easy to keep clean. Think carefully about the panel width and the position of the shower head to limit splashing.
Frame finish and glass
Choose a frame finish such as chrome or black to match your taps and accessories. Always make sure the glass is toughened safety glass, and measure the opening carefully, since enclosures need an accurate fit.
Shower heads, kits and valves
A shower is only as good as its control and outlet. Look at the shower head or kit, then pair it with the right valve from our taps and valves. If you need a bath shower mixer, check that the kit and valve work together.

Shower FAQs
Is a walk-in shower or a shower door better?
It depends on the room. A door keeps water in more reliably, while a walk-in screen gives a more open look and is easier to step into. Our comparison guide explains both.
How do I measure for a shower enclosure?
Measure the width and depth of the space at the base and at the top, as walls are often not perfectly square. Also note the height you need and where the waste sits.
Do I need a shower tray?
Not always. Wet room panels work with a fully waterproofed, level floor and drain, but most enclosures sit on a tray or base. Your installer can advise on your floor.
What finish should I choose for the frame?
Match it to your taps and accessories. Black frames give a bold, contemporary look, and chrome is a classic choice that works with almost any scheme.
